Free Move Terms & Conditions

WHO MAY OBTAIN A FREE MOVE?

• You must name ApartmentGurus.com on the Guest card and Rental Application.
• Your rental rate must be at least $700.00 (if less than $700.00 you will be eligible for a reduced cash back rebate or a reduced moving credit/free move offer).
• You must not have learned of the property before using our service.
• You must lease a property listed in our apartment-locating database or a property referred to you by one of our licensed agents.
• You must notify your agent prior to visiting communities so licensed agent may pre-register you if necessary.
• You are only permitted one choice of the following GIFTs: a free move, a cash rebate, or free maid service.
• You must not be moving from a sister property of your current residence.
• You must have never before lived in the community where you lease.
• You must not be transferring (on-site transfer) from within the same property.
• You must sign at least a 12-month lease to be eligible for the free move, free maid, or rebate offer.
• If the referral fee from the participating community is below our minimum requirements, then we reserve the right to offer a reduced cash rebate or a reduced move or maid credit offer in place of our full free maid, move, full rebate offer.
• You must agree to the terms and conditions on the Free GIFT Page, specifically our terms and conditions for "FREE MOVE" “FREE MAID” and "Disclaimer/Waiver."
• Moving credit is permitted 1-2 hours on a 1 bedroom, 2-3 hours on a 2 bedroom, and 3-4 hours for a 3 bedroom maximum. Speak with your agent for final determination on hour credits.
• It is highly recommended that you schedule your move early. Schedules are set based on first come; first serve, in the order of received client move requests.
• The moving company will begin a move only after all boxes are taped and sealed. All items of clothing must be properly boxed.
• ApartmentGurus.com and/or its agents will not be responsible for damages caused to boxed items.
• The moving company reserves the right to reschedule moves to the next available time slot due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
• It is highly recommended that you schedule your move early. Schedules are set based on first come; first serve, in the order of received client move requests.
• All items must be removed from all furniture, including dressers, chests, wine racks, and entertainment centers.
• ApartmentGurus.com and/or its agents will not be responsible for damages caused to furniture made with or of particleboard.
• Customer acknowledges that ApartmentGurus.com will hire an independent contractor to perform the moving services for customer and that no partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between ApartmentGurus.com and the independent contractor is created.
• Customer acknowledges that ApartmentGurus.com is not a moving company and is not required to carry insurance as proscribed by the Texas Department of Transportation.
• The customer assumes the entire risk related to using ApartmentGurus.com to facilitate a free move. ApartmentGurus.com disclaims any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will ApartmentGurus.com be liable to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, lost profit, costs and expenses including reasonable attorneys' fees (collectively "Losses"), resulting in any manner, directly or indirectly, from a free move arranged by ApartmentGurus.com for customer.
• ApartmentGurus.com and its designated independent moving company reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to issue a rebate if appropriate.
